Change where script renders

I love the elegance of the new tag helpers, but the jQuery code itself is running inline on the widget which forces me to load jQuery\kendo at the top of the page

Is there a way to change where the script markup is generated\rendered?

Hello,

Currently the TagHelpers don't have an option to render deferred scripts, like the HTML helpers. It's a valid request and I would encourage you to log it into our public uservoice, so that other people can vote for it, and we will consider it for our future releases:
