Hi All

is it possble to change the size of TileListItem accornig to some ratio

For example :
Item 1   20*20
Item  2  20*20
Item 3  20*100
Item 4   20*20
item 5   40*40
....
...
....
...

Is This possible ?

Hi Hilmi,

Currently, tiles can be Single, Double and Quadruple as mentioned here. Changing their size is still possible, but they might not be rendered one next to the other as with the default sizes, but rather have a specific space in-between. However, whether this is appropriate or not depends entirely on your exact requirements.

Hi Hilmi,

Could you clarify a bit ? What is the functionality you want to get and how RadTileList differs in this aspect from the Win8 ?

Hi Maya,

You indicate that changing their size is still possible, how can this be done? I am looking to use the same tile sizing ratio's as per the default sizing, however, basically just double the overall size of all tile sizes. How can this be achieved?

thanks

Hi Maya.

I changed tile dimensions on-the fly when they are dynamically added (throw the AutoGeneratingTile handler in the code-behind) but I have this "strange" space in-between.... How can I set those margins or remove them?

Hello Jaume,

We are aware of this problem. Unfortunately, this can not be controlled with the current version of RadTileList. We are aware of this limitation and we are working on some improvements of the RadTileList control. Our intentions are to update that behavior with the upcoming Q3 release so that this can be easily set.
