How can you change the language of the ReportViewer interface in Silverlight?

I am not talking about globalization of my reports, only changing the interface language of the ReportViewer with a translation for the labels such as "of x pages", "rendering report", ...

Hi Jim,

Currently it is not possible to localize the Silverlight report viewer. We will do our best to implement the missing functionality for a subsequent release. For the time being if you only need to change the default English localization, you can use Blend for this purpose as explained in the Creating Style in Expression Blend help article.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the quick response.
However using style editing in Blend only enables to change half of the labels and messages.

e.g. I couldn't find how to change the message "rendering report".

I hope an update to the software is available soon!

Hello Jim,

You are correct, this string is hard-coded and we would surely take care of that when working on the localization feature.
