Alt+Enter or Shift+Enter would not allow multiline editing of cells.
Is there any way to edit cell content over several lines?

Hello Jack,
Currently, the widget allows to edit the active (focused) cell, either in whole sheet or just in specified selection.
As far as I know, Microsoft Excel does not allow editing of multiple cells at once. Could you elaborate a bit more on what you need to accomplish? Could you share with us a screencast, which shows the correct behavior?

Simply try to enter (using the keyboard in a single cell): "Hello\nWorld".
In Excel you would use Alt+ Enter to type \n.
In Telerik Spreadsheet, I have found no way to type \n

Hello Jack,
Thank you for the clarification.
Indeed, currently multiline editing is not supported. I logged it in our product backlog and will add it in the next official release of Kendo UI Spreadsheet.
