Hello,

If you look at this example: https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/multiselect/#toc-events, you will noticed that when someone click the clear all button (x) the blur event is raised.

It's possible to cancel this blur event?

It's possible to have somehow the same behavior like in the combobox case : https://www.telerik.com/kendo-angular-ui/components/dropdowns/combobox/#toc-events ?

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Thank you for the provided feedback.

Indeed, the demonstrated undesired behavior is caused by a bug on our side. The behavior of the ComboBox is proper while the behavior of the MutliSelect isn't. That is why I logged an issue in our public GitHub repository where it can be tracked:

https://github.com/telerik/kendo-angular/issues/2893

I have also updated your account Telerik points for bringing this issue to our attention.

Unfortunately, at this point I am unable to provide a workaround as there isn't such available that wouldn't have undesired side effects. Thus tracking the issue status and waiting for a fix in a new version of the DropDowns is the way to go. I believe that the issue should be fixed by our R3 official release scheduled for September/October. However that isn't a fixed deadline and the fix might be released sooner as well as later.

Please accept our apologies for the caused inconvenience until the issue is resolved.

Feel free, to write back in case any further assistance is required for any Kendo UI for Angular related topic. Thank you in advance.

Regards,
Svetlin
