I am new to forum. Currently we have all our reports done in SSRS. I am facing a problem when i try to ajaxify my application with RadAjaxmanager. As SSRS report viewer control inside an update panel or infact any ajax framework would have many javascript errors.
So, can we bind SSRS server reports to Telerik ReportViewer control?
it would be really great sharing ideas if any one has done anything like this.

The Telerik Web ReportViewer can display only Telerik Reports and it is not possible to use it with SQL Server Reporting Services' reports.

Currently we do not offer a converter from SSRS and you can find more information on the subject in the following forum thread. Recreating the reports from scratch is the only possible way for the time being.

Does Telerik Reporting Q3 2012 report viewer support binding of SSRS reports or at least converting SSRS reports to Telerik report so that we do not need to redesign all our reports from scratch?
We really need to change our reporting from SSRS to Telerik Reporting Q3 2012 but need to know if the concerns have been resolved in this version.

We have been busy working on new features for Telerik Reporting for the past several major versions. With that said, working on SSRS converter is not in our immediate plans and by no means we are dedicated to create such a converter at this point of time. As suggested in the following forum thread, if you have lots of reports that you would like to convert, we encourage you to try to create a converter of your own.

Hi Admin,
Is there any update on SSRS report can be included Telerik control?
Our company is using another third-party software which has a lot of inbuilt SSRS report. I would like to leverage the reports already in the software in the web application. Features in Telerik Report Viewer are better than that of Microsoft. However, since it cannot load SSRS report, it's of no use in scenario.
Note: Moving of reports to Telerik is not an option as the reports are from third-party software and are upgraded with every upgrade of the software.
Currently we do not have plans to support SSRS reports in our report viewers. You can check the status of this request here.

Hi Nasko,
The ticket link you shared is already declined. Still would like to say if this scope, if added to the product profile, will be a really useful addition.
The ticket appears to have been declined.
I would still emphasize the utility of the scope. This will give the product profile real boost.
Feature request was declined as it falls out of our product's scope. Telerik report viewers can display only reports created with Telerik Reporting. In case you wish to use existing reports they first need to be converted to Telerik reports. Here is a list of the features of Telerik reports that might be useful during the conversion process.

Hi Katia,
The SSRS reports are already in use in other application. We just wish to pull it on our website using Telerik Report Viewer. The SSRS reports are live and are modified regularly by other teams. Conversion is not an option for us. I was just looking for at least to have a workaround to get this working.
Unfortunately, there is no workaround I can provide. The viewer and Reporting REST service are designed to work only with report definitions created with Telerik Reporting.
