Hi. Please tell me - can I use telerik:CollectionEditor to edit content of telerik:RadTreeView? I've dug in Google about it but and don't find any information just about using telerik:CollectionEditor for editing content of telerik:RadTreeView. Thank you very much in advance. I bag your pardon for your time.

Hi,

CollectionEditor is used in the domain of RadPropertyGrid and not RadTreeView. You can find the following help articles regarding the RadTreeView control useful:
http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/wpf/controls/radtreeview/getting-started/getting-started.html
http://docs.telerik.com/devtools/wpf/controls/radtreeview/getting-started/populating-with-data.html

I have in mind in my question the following: Can I place RadTreeView in the left side of CollectionEditor instead of planar collection being there and edit properties of each node of RadTreeView through RadPropertyGrid that is in the right side of CollectionEditor?

Hello Eugene,

The behavior you seek for seems pretty specific and would be really hard to achieve. You can try modifying the Control Template of the CollectionEditor, but such modification is pretty major and we cannot guarantee that your requirement can be fulfilled at all. Please check the following article from our documentation - Editing Control Templates. Another approach would be to create a custom control from scratch.
