Hello all,

by default, the boolean parameter shows a radio button.
Any chance I can setup a checkbox for my boolean parameter?

Hello Derek,

The built-in report parameter editors cannot be changed out of the box. For ASP.NET and Windows Forms viewer you would have to create your own UI for this purpose, if you're using the Silverlight or WPF viewers, you can edit the default template and replace the report parameter editors with the ones you need.

Derek,

I know this is an older post but I'll kick in my 2 cense for future folks looking at a similar situation.  I have been playing with Reporting for the first time this weekend.  On my reports boolean fields are placed into the auto-generated reports as the type
"DataCheckBox" that displays into the report as a radio button ("ick").  This is the default icon.  I changed the default icons for CheckedImage, UncheckedImage, and IndeterminateImage in the DataCheckBox properties using 16x16 icons found in the Microsoft "VS2012 Modern Image Library.zip" (free to download).

Now my checkbox is a real checkbox and not the radio button in my report.  I hope this helps.
