Hello Onduty,

Currently, we do not have built-in support for exporting the RadGanttView control to a XML file. This behavior is logged as a request feature in our portal. The idea is to be able to export a gantt view to XML file, which if wanted, can be imported to MSProject. That said, you could vote for the feature, as well as follow it to get notified via e-mail when its status gets changed.

Regarding the second question, could specify what do you mean by saving and loading items?

For example, there are hundreds of items that need to be added to GanttView. I can't do it all at once.

I add 50 items to GanttView, then shut down the ganttview, next day I will reopen Gannttview add the remaining items.

Can save the work progress, the next time open to continue?

To achieve this behavior, you will need to save the tasks in some type of data storage, such as isolated storage, or a database. And when the application is started, take the entries from this storage provider and load them on the viewport via, for example, in an ObservableCollection collection. Please let me know if this would work for you or if I have misunderstood you in any way.

It's okay, but it's a little too heavy.

Infragistics, syncfusion or ComponentOne for WPF, all support import or export XML

We apologize for the inconvenience, but, for the time being, this feature is not planned for our upcoming releases, so, what I could suggest is to vote for the item to increase its priority. If the request is of interest to people and its priority is high enough, we will consider it and if possible, make it part of our future plans.
