There doesn't appear to be a scheduler header template, is there some way to put controls (buttons) in the header ?

Hello David,
Thank you for contacting Telerik Support.
I am afraid that the desired functionality is not supported with the RadScheduler. This is why, I would suggest you to implement a custom scenario, where you can use jQuery, in order to inject html in the header of the control and hook a click event, where the custom logic could be implemented.
