Easier to show than to explain. Please take a look at the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aChANYI6VsA

I am using v2013.3.1414.

Hello Sergei,

My guess is that you run the app in a phonegap environment - please check this stackoverflow thread on how to disable bounce in that case.

Is this going to change how the views are behaving? I am happy with how they work now, it is the transition that is not right.

If we forget about the vertical overscroll for a second, what about the second issue- the animation freezes halfway when I start dragging the finger.

Actually, setting <preference name="DisallowOverscroll" value="true"/> fixes both problems.

The only question, does this have any other consequences? If not, why isn't it set to true by default in Telerik AppBuilder projects?

Hello Sergei,

this setting does not have any negative consequences. However, it will interfere with the mobile application native scrolling configuration option - this is why the AppBuilder templates do not set it to true by default.
