I believe I found a browser compatibility issue with the textbox.
IE 7 and IE 8 allows the textbox to grow horizontally while the same report in FireFox does not.

After researching this forum, I found numerous posts where it states categorically that text-boxes can only grow or shrink vertically.

It does not seem to matter what combination of CanGrow or CanShrink has been set.
However once the report is exported to PDF - the textbox formats correctly.

The work around of course is to force the report directly to PDF.

Is this a known issue?
Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Hello David,

There was such a problem in earlier versions of the product, but it has been addressed already. Please upgrade to the latest version of Telerik Reporting (Q3 SP1) and let us know of the outcome.

Sincerely yours,

I was under the impression that we had the latest version - but I could be misinformed.
The version number I am using is 3.1.9.807
with the runtime version of v2.0.50727
