Dear Telerik,

I have been tasked with styling your RadExpander control using Blend 4 however when locating the Object > Edit Style... menu option in Blend I am faced with only the "Create Empty..." option, the expected "Edit A Copy" option is disabled.

Could this be something to do with referenced libraries? I used the "Convert to Telerik Project" option in Visual Studio to add all of the correct references so would expect them to be available.

Do you know of anything I could try in order to get this working?

Many Thanks

Ben

Just an update to say that I have downloaded the very latest version of Expression Blend (SP1) and this issue has now been resolved.

Many Thanks.

Hello Benjamin,

I would jus like  to mention that all the style files are located in the themes subfolder in the installation folder of your RadControls. You can copy what you need and paste in your project in VS if Blend is not working for you.
Feel free to ask if you need further assistance.

Best wishes,

Hi Petar,

I am having somewhat similar issues. I got blend 4 SP1. Right clicking does not let me copy existing style. I have proceeded to copy the content of RadExpander.xaml from C:\Program Files (x86)\Telerik\RadControls for WPF Q1 2011 SP1\Themes\Transparent\Themes\Transparent into my project but having hard time making the xaml work.

I am getting multiple errors in Blend (not VS) the the first one is (on line 61) BooleanToVisibilityConverter does not exist in namespace "clr-namespace:Telerik.Windows.Controls;assembly=Telerik.Windows.Controls, Version=2011.1.0419.35, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken =5803....

This is all in effort to change the Decorator (top left corner) which DecoratorTemplate does not do anymore.

What am I doing wrong?

Thanks!

Hi Viet,

Could you please examine the attached sample project and tell me if it is working for you?
