Binding ASP Rad Grid client side

We have the non-AJAX, Q2, 2008 version of the rad controls. I'd like to know if we're able to bind the grid client side. I've seen the documentation for the ASP Ajax controls, and the client side API is different from the controls we have.

Is there any way to accomplish this? If so, could you please point me in the directon of the documentation?
