I am unable to create a report that generates a billing statement with a return slip at the bottom of the page that you cut off and return with your payment.  In order to do this I either need to have current record data available in the page footer or pin a group footer to the bottom of a page.  Crystal Reports has the former, but I also need bar codes, which my version of Crystal Reports does not have.  I am reluctantly moving on to Jasper unless someone can prove me wrong.  Please do!

By the way, Telerik RadControls are the bees knees.  Way to go, guys!

Hello Wyatt,

Unfortunately the data processing and the paging are two separate processes and that is why the page footer section cannot contain such information. As for the group footer sticking right after the detail section - this is currently by design, but we've had quite a few inquiries about providing an option to stay at the bottom of the page, so we would consider adding this for a subsequent version of the product.
Meanwhile, you can try playing with the heights of the Detail/GroupFooter sections until you achieve a layout like the one you desire, if possible of course.

Please, excuse us for the temporary inconvenience and thank you for the understanding.

All the best,
Steve

Thanks for the considering the feature for future updates.

Playing with the detail/group footer doesn't work, because I have line item records in the detail, which vary the height.  The height needs to be calculated at run-time.
