Hi,

Can the Barcode control be used outside of the reporting services.
e.g

<telerik:barcode id="barcode1" .....

I want to use the Barcode control on a page to be printed.

I am also about to buy the Rad Controls for Asp.Net and I was wonering if I could just purchase this as an add-on.

Thanks,

Ronan

Hello rmoynihan,

Unfortunately the barcode as a report item is part of the Reporting product and cannot be used separately. Anyway I'll throw in the suggestion to our ASP.NET web teams (I'm sure they already have it logged for consideration).

Please excuse us for the inconvenience.

Is there any update to this? I would like to generate a barcode and display it on a webform. Is this possible?

Thanks,
Tom

Hello Tom,

So far there is not much interest in barcode control and that is why we have not considered it for inclusion in our ASP.NET AJAX suite. Nevertheless, based on the feedback we receive and the interest indicated in this type of control, we may target it for a future version of the suite.

Kind regards,
Sebastian
