Updating from RadDataForm using ObjectDataSource

I've been trying to update the data in my RadDataForm for a long time now but without success.

I am using an object called UtilisateurDetailViewModel (code below) and a class name UtilisateurDetailDataObject that takes care of doing the DB calls (CRUD) through a standard BLL-DAL etc.

I bind my data to my form using a double click that calls the select method on ym ObjectDataSource using parameters.

The problem I am facing is that watever I do, clicking my button with the CommandName="Update" in the EditItemTemplate doesn't do anything. I have tried tons of things to make it work but nothing.

Here is all my code, hoping it's only a little mistake or an option that's missing. I know it is a big chunk of code, but the UtilisateurDetailViewModel and RadDataForm have a lot of repitition that doesn't need reading since it's just several radtextboxed for the values.

Raise Master Table View Add New Record Button in code behind

I'm hoping that someone can help me. I have a radgrid with a Add New Sales Opportunity button on the command bar at the top of the MasterTableView. When clicked the ItemCreated event is fired. I have a JavaScript alert that asks if the user wants to create another record after they have saved their first. I am using a HiddenField on the user control to send the response back to the server side. What I need to do is raise the ItemCreated event in the code behind to open a new add form if the user options to create a new record.

Javascript: Unterminated String Constant

Hello,

I'm trying to get a working RadHtmlChart. But as soon as i'm using a LinQ-DataSource, i'm getting an Javascript-Exception "0x800a03f7: Unterminated String Constant" and the Chart is empty

RadGrid PageSize not visible

Hello,
I'm using Telerik RadGrid to present some objects to user. When the grid is filled thru NeedDataSource event, everything works fine. But I'm experimenting with asynchronous data loading and binding data to grid thru RadGrid.Datasource seems better for this.
My problem is that when I bind data this way - setting RadGrid.Datasource and calling RadGrid.DataBind(), than the DropDown list for choosing PageSize stops showing the selected pagesize. The dropdown list alone works fine, I can change to different number of items per page, but no matter what i do, the number is not visible.
Sorting and filtering of the data is done in WCF service, so I have set AllowCustomPaging to true and I set the VirtualItemCount just after setting the DataSource property (just before calling DataBind()).

Changing the Div Properties

Hi, above all im a rookie on this and im paying the price...

The thing is, i have a RadGrid and a Div that contains another controls (text boxes and combos), the div has the property runat = "server" and visible = "false"

The point is, with the item command i need to pass the values of the row to the controls of the div and of course change the visible property to "true"

I dont care if the solution is using another control instead the div, i need to show and hide sections of the page with the imer command of the grid, but to this moment is impossible to me

Cross Site Scripting Flaw

I recently had our application scanned by Veracode and every Telerik control used had a XSS flaw where script could be injected in the ClientState of all controls and successfully executed after the control rendered. Am I missing some property to scrub the ClientState or is this a true flaw? Please advise.

Example:
Injected "><script>alert(String.fromCharCode(104,78,108,53,56,82,111,83))</script> into RadMultiPage1_ClientState and got an alert.
Expected that the injected script would be removed.

Problem with dropdown combobox when creating grid in code

Hi we have a dataset generated from SQL and within this dataset we also have an extra table where its the source of a lookup.

We have a grid operating in batchmode (inline editing) which we create programmatically. We want to have a dropdowncolumn which is bound to that extra table.

Please dont tell me that to implement this we need to implement templates its a simple requirement .

Recurrence Appointment Usage

Hi everybody,

I have a question about how I can compare the current time against the schedule appointment. I set up the appointment with the Start date time (12-01-2016 7:00 PM), End date time (12-01-2016 7:15 PM), and the Recurrence Rule(Recur 1 time every week on Thursday). When the time comes, I'll display my image. For instance, if the current time is 12-01-2016 5:00 PM, my application does not show the image, and it does show up when the time is 7:01 PM. What is the best way to compare the current time against the appointment. I attach my screenshot here as well.
