Hi all,
I am new to Telerik reporting, I started a new project and added a class library.
When I tried to add a new telerik report, the application is hanged/strucked and cannot do nothing. Just closing the visual studio.
I also installed new version of Telerik reporting, same thing continues..........
Suggest me a solution.
Thanks & Regards
Praveen kumar

Hi Praveen kumar,
You are the first one to report such a problem and we think that it might be a corrupted VS installation on your end. Please try this on another machine to verify if this is indeed the case. If this happens on both machines, please provide details on the machines:

- Operating System
- Visual Studio version
- available RAM
- when exactly does VS hang? If before opening the Add new Item dialog, can you verify that uninstalling Telerik Reporting helps?

Hi,
Has this problem been resolved? I am it would seem experiencing similar problems when adding Telerik Reporting Reports to a class, using the Wizard and Telerik ReportViewer in both WinForms and WebForms etc...
Doing anything that is related to Telerik is causing Visual Studio 2005 and 2008 to hang.
Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm having the same problem. I am trying to go through the quick start tutorial in the trial version of Reporting Q3 2010. As soon as I try to add a new item (a Telerik Q3 2010 report) Visual Studio hangs. Curiously, it did work for me once after a long delay, but every other time it has hung indefinitely.
I am running Visual Studio 2010 under Win 7 Pro 64 bit.
I hope there is a fix for this, because Telerik Reporting looks very promising otherwise!

Hello Michael,
We would appreciate if you provide more details on how to reproduce this on our end. As you can see this topic is from 2009 and only two people reported it, without any details on reproducing it or answering my questions. Clearly there is something specific causing the problem, as if this was a wide problem, we would be swarming with such complains.
Sincerely yours,
Steve
