Hi
Greeting!!!!
Congratulations for your Mobile UI Beta Release.

As i understand that Mobile UI will give a native look through HtML5, but what i want to know is that whether any installation file will be there like .jad or it will be access through browser of mobile and Tablets on URL.

Secondly can we use grid from existing UI Widgets of Kendo UI.

Regards
Manash Dutta

Hello,

Kendo UI Mobile allows you to write a native-like mobile applications using HTML5 and JavaScript, which can be accessed through the mobile device browser. For native iOS/Android packaging, you can use tools like PhoneGap.

What about support for other KendoUI widgets like the grid?

Hi,

Sorry for missing that question in your previous post. You can use the regular Kendo UI Web (and, for that matter, the DataViz) widgets inside the mobile application.

The right moment for their instantiation would be the viewInit event of the view they are in.
