angular2 grid component roadmap

hi,

We are considering the use of the new angular2 grid component.

It looks very promising, but is missing some features. Some of the missing features such as filtering capabilities are listed in the road-map, but we couldn't find reference some other existing (angular1/jquery) capabilities.Unfortunately, there is no feedback on the "Kendo UI for Angular 2 Feedback" so we are posting this issue here.

 

We would appreciate feedback regarding the plan to support column management features (reordering, resizing, column-selector).

Hi Eran,

Thank you for your interest in Kendo UI for Angular 2.

This is a new and separate product, currently in beta stage and free for use and community preview. We will release a commercial offering in 2017 and that will also include dedicated support service.

In the meantime, the Community & Support page outlines the available options to receive technical assistance via StackOverflow or Telerik Professional Services, or report issues in our kendo-angular2 GitHub repository, or submit feature requests in our UserVoice Portal.

Stay tuned and keep an eye on our Kendo UI for Angular 2 site and the roadmap, the Telerik blogs (specifically, the Kendo UI Product Manager posts) and GitHub repository for updates.

Thanks for your reply.

However, as mentioned in the original post, none of these resources include reference to the column management features.

Since, unfortunately, there are no replies to any of the issues on the official kendo-angular2 forum, we posted this issue here.

Would you please let us know if these features are on the roadmap or should we open a feature request?

Hello,

Currently the column reordering and column resizing feature are planned for the Q2 release - May 2017. As for the selection - it is available with the current version as well.
