Hello gurus! :-)
I am working on a project where one specific menu needs to have its sub menus open on the left rather than the right. I have tried the Placement property on the popups in the styles, but they don't seem to have any effect. Can you please help me?

Hi Morten,
Thank you for pointing out this issue. The Placement property values on the Popup being ignored is in fact a bug in RadMenu for WPF.
I have logged this issue. Please, vote for it in our PITS.
I am afraid at this point there is no workaround to the problem. We will try to fix this issue in one of the nearest releases.
I have updated your Telerik points for your appreciated feedback.
Kind regards,
Dani

This question was asked in 2011. Was it fixed since then?

Sorry but apparently it is not your fault, it is Windows fault since the event of touch screens.
Have a look at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/18113597/wpf-handedness-with-popups.
The code from this link fixed my issue.
