I recently updated from *.35 version to *.40 (Q2 2012). But I can not open the Design-View properly. ( But I was able to do so with the previous version)

Could you check this forum where a problem with rendering control in Design View is discussed? If the proposed solutions do not prove helpful, could you provide your web.config file for further investigation?
