I have just downloaded and installed the Reporting package, and I am experiencing an issue creating a new report. Here is the scenario that happens:
Open VS2005
Create a new C# Class Library
Right click on project and select add new item
Select "Telerik Report"
I then get the new screen that is the report layout designer (and sometimes a popup wizard window). At this point VS2005 locks up and shortly there after dies and does the "Send report to MS and Restart" window.
I have tried starting my computer - didnt help.
I am now trying to uninstall and reinstall - and will let you know if this helps anything.
Suggestions?
Chad

Ok - I reinstalled with no issue. Now after I add the report class to the library I get a MS popup window that says "Overflow error". I click on the "ok" button and I get the "Send report" window again.
Not really sure what is going. I will try on another computer tomorrow (going into work on a sunday??) and see if it is something with my home machine.

What versions of windows is supported for development? It seems that I have no issue with XP but get errors with Windows 2003 server.

Hi Chad,
Please refer to the System Requirements. Windows 2003 server is in the list of supported operating systems.
As I understand, you face this problem only on Windows 2003 server. The only reason for the wizard's crash I can think of would be if you do not have distinct rights.
Please write us back if you still have problems with the Reporting installation along with details about the problem.
Kind regards,
Hrisi

Hello Pavel,
Please, check your other support incident on the same issue. Using a class library project rather than a web site will solve the problem. More information on the topic you can find in the Getting Started topic in the documentation.

If it serves for you, I Always work on a Windows 2003 Server with vs2005, vs2003, vs6, etc all installed on the same server on a dual opteron platform and I never had this problem with telerik reporting.
