Add page number in report

In my report, I have an index page where I need to show the page number of each section, text length of each section is dynamic. how can I add corresponding page number of each section in index page?

Hello Matthew,

Having a table-of-content including the page numbers is not supported. Feel free to use the public feedback portal and submit a feature request. Requests are selected for implementation based on the demand, the task complexity and required resources for realization.

In general, such functionality will require modifications of the whole reporting engine, which would not lead to accelerating  the performance positively. The reason is that the TOC depends on the paging and the paging depends on the media the report is being rendered into. Including this feature will slow down the report document rendering as the document will be sized and calculated once depending on the selected rendering media. Then a second time after calculating what spaces is added by the TOC to the document for the specific media.

Rest assured we count your vote and anyone's vote to have the feature. Our aim is to provide you a fully functional reporting mechanism and if we come to a decision to have TOC feature it will be announce in our Roadmap.

You can download the product from your Telerik account and check the release notes and online help.

A sample report demonstrating the feature is available in our online demos.
