I´m working on a report which uses PictureBoxes as links. This has been achieved by assigning an action to each PictureBox I want to become a link. On Preview mode, the PictureBoxes open the specified link when clicked, but when the report is saved to PDF, the PictureBoxes are displayed on the output PDF but nothing happens when I click on them.
I inadvertently installed Q2 2010 version over the Q1 2010. Since then, I´ve even used System Restore to restore the system to prior to the first installation of Q2, and then uninstalled Q1 and reinstalled Q2, but it keeps not rendering actions. I´m not sure whether this is the cause, but it could be, who knows?...
Thanks in advance,
Geraldo

In Q1 2011 we have introduced some interactivity features.
- URL actions on report items are rendered as hyperlinks in the PDF file. Hyperlinks are rendered as clickable links and when you click the hyperlink, the default Web browser opens and navigates to the specified URL.
- The PDF rendering extension supports Document Map interactive feature. You can use it by opening the Bookmarks pane in Acrobat Reader to navigate inside the report.

I have a picture box control and it's working fine in the browser... the Action - NavigateToURL is working.
However, when exporting to PDF, I just get a static image.
Is there a property I need to set to get these to work in PDF? Also are these doable in Excel as well?
Unfortunately you're correct and we've broke the Hyperlink Action in the latest release. I've logged the issue in our bug tracking system and we would fix them for the upcoming service pack.
Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience. Your Telerik points have been updated for bringing this to our attention.

Can we roll back to a prior release? What is the ETA on the service pack?
The service pack is scheduled for about a month from now and yes, you can downgrade to a previous version. You can use the Upgrade Wizard to take care of the references.

We could not confirm in our local tests problems with hyperlinks in PDF files. Can you please elaborate on the problem i.e. are you getting an error, the hyperlinks are missing etc. or open a ticket and provide us with a report that exhibits the problem so we can advise you accordingly.

I have a report with a textbox, set action property to (Navigate to Url) with valid url. When i Preview the report in Visual Studio, I can click the textbox control, and a browser window opens, navigating to the desired url.
If I save/export the report to PDF, and open the pdf file, the textbox is innert - no recognizable action.
This is critical functionality we need in our reports - displaying live links to external documents - is there an eta for resolving this, or any sort of a workaround?
Thanks.
Thanks,
Sunita
We have reproduced the issue and it's logged in our bug tracking database. We will introduce a fix with the subsequent internal build or service pack.
Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience.
