Hi,

I want to make the datepicker .k-input completely accessible for which I need to separately call out MM when focus is on MM alone and similarly for DD and YYYY for day and year respectively. Is there some way via some jQuery custom code to achieve this functionality as well?

Hello, Dhruba,

Currently, the Kendo UI DatePicker will say the full date contained in the input.

Could you please shows us an input which will be read by a screen reader by separating the focused words in it, so we can inspect it and advise if it can be implemented in our widget. If this is possible using the aria attributes, we can advise how to attach the needed attributes to the Kendo UI DatePicker.

We constantly try to improve the accessibility of our widgets and any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Stefan
