What support does the reporting product have for inherited reports? We have a number of customers who would like to be able to take our "stock" reports and tweak them to meet their needs. However, we have all of our stock reports compiled into a dll, so they don't have access to the source. We'd like to be able to have them request customization, then we would build them an inherited report that could be distributed to them individually so we wouldn't have to release an update to our report dll.

If I understand correctly you are asking whether Telerik Reporting offers something like an end-user report designer. To my greatest regret we still lack this functionality. Anyway, we have plans to add the end-user designer to the product feature list. As soon as we can have any estimate about the time frame, it will appear in the product roadmap.

It wouldn't have to be an end user designer (though that would be GREAT) - basically we would distribute reports we build in a dll. Reports that customers want customized we would create and distribute to them individually. For example:
1) We have a built in report listing all employees last name, first name, phone number.
2) One customer wants this report, but wants it to include a social security column.
3) Another customer wants this same report, but wants it to have their logo at the top.
We would like to be able to make changes to this default report to satisfy each customer's need, but we don't want to modify the dll and redistribute it to other customers or mess with the version they have. We'd like to be able to give the customers in #2 and #3 reports with their customizations that inheir the functionality of the report in the dll but add these changes.

My second guess is that you are asking for some kind of interactive reports where the end users can modify a report while reviewing in any of the report viewers - add/remove fields, custom grouping, filtering or sorting, etc. I can confirm that we already have plans and the interactive reports are the next major step that we will make.
