Telerik blogs

If you are a developer working with Microsoft platforms, and aren’t living under a rock, then you probably know that TechEd 2012 is happening right now in Orlando, Florida. Telerik is in Orlando, in force. We know most of you couldn’t be there, so we sent out our scouts to help capture at least a part of the experience for you.

A very big part of TechEd 2012 is Windows 8 and what it brings to software developers. One thing we are pretty proud of is the fact that Antoine Leblond, the corporate Vice President of Windows Web Services, included Telerik products in his keynote, which focused on building applications for Windows 8. Huge thanks to Antoine and Pete Brown who made this happen!!

We managed to get a stream recording—it’s low quality L, but it’s right here for you. Fast-forward to 5th minute to see Telerik controls in action. We announced the industry-first 3rd-party control library for building apps for Windows 8 at TechEd– called, you guessed it, RadControls for Metro. If you are at TechEd you can grab an activation code for an early preview at our booth. Or, you can request to get one via our Windows 8 developer club

Another thing we are doing to bring a part of  the TechEd experience to your living room or office is the Telerik Interview Series by the host of DotNetRocks podcast, Richard Campbell. Our goal is to bring you two to four interviews every day from TechEd Insiders. You can also check out the pictures we will be posting regularly to albums at our Facebook fan page.

Richard Talks to Joel Semeniuk and Steve Forte about their Agile Estimation talk at Tech Ed, and Agile in general.

Richard Talks to Chris Sells about Windows 8 and Telerik.

Stay tuned to our blogs for more interviews from TechEd. A few interviews with industry influencers are being edited as we speak….
