I am excited to announce the immediate availability of the highly anticipated ListView for Xamarin.Forms control. It comes as a Beta two weeks before we release it officially with Q2 2015. The new control is supported by a Demo app (called SDKBrowser), where you can find what features are supported and how you can use them. They include:

  • Different layouts
  • Pull to refresh
  • Single\Multiple selection on tap\hold
  • Item swipe gesture support
  • Grouping
  • Template cells

In addition to brand new control, with this release we introduce a lot of improvements in the existing components. For more information, please refer to the UI for Xamarin Release Notes.

NuGet Package Support

The Xamarin product itself and UI for Xamarin, respectively, are complex products; they depend on a wide range of assemblies. Therefore, it’s important for such a complex product to be shipped in the form of NuGet feed, so it can download and add references to all necessary dependencies. As of this release, we ship NuGet package feed files, which you can use to get appropriate versions of the UI for Xamarin dependencies.
