Progress Champions is a unified program to recognize and honor our friends in the developer community—nominations are now open for 2025.
Success is worth chasing and, with success, friends become advocates. Developers learn from each other’s experiences, and it’s easy to share a love for tooling that makes developers more productive. We are surrounded by a wonderful community in the software industry—developers, designers, architects, partners, product owners and decision makers, are all cogs in a giant wheel that moves things forward.
Progress Software has always recognized and honored outstanding folks in the software community—influencers who lead with success, share knowledge and drive the community forward with empathy. Last year, we announced the launch of Progress Champions—a unified program to recognize our best friends in the industry. It’s time to reshape the Progress Champions program for 2025 and see some fresh faces—nominations are now open.
So, who are Progress Champions? In short, the best among us. While every Progress Champion is unique, there are some common traits:
Progress Champions represent the very best in our community. Progress Champions is an annual recognition program, with nominations occurring in November/December and announcement of the elite Progress Champions group at the start of the calendar year. We celebrate our Progress Champions with a range of exclusive perks and value our continued collaboration.
Progress Champions are all over the world—while we often see our friends in person, it is difficult to get everyone together. In 2024, we hosted a Progress Champions Summit—a virtual day of sharing Progress vision from leaders, discussing product strategies/roadmaps and collecting feedback. We have plans to expand on Progress Champions Summit in 2025, with more focused conversations and thought leadership on AI.
Progress Software has a big portfolio of products, and modern developers often relate to Progress through a collection of tools and frameworks. This we collectively call Developer Tools—it includes Telerik UI suites for all things .NET, Kendo UI suites for all things JavaScript, reporting products, testing solutions, design story with ThemeBuilder, network debugging with Fiddler and other developer productivity tools.
Progress Champions focused on DevTools are industry experts and thought leaders, with a long developer background and shared love for Telerik, Kendo UI, Fiddler and more. In 2025, we’ll be looking to do quarterly touchpoints with DevTools Champions to share product strategies/roadmaps and collect inputs toward better developer productivity.
The Progress Champions program showcases excellence in the developer community and the passion to educate others to be more successful. If you work with Progress technologies, we appreciate the partnership.
If you are passionate about Telerik UI suites for all things .NET, Kendo UI suites for all things JavaScript, reporting suites, testing solutions, design systems, network debugging with Fiddler or other developer productivity tools from Progress Software, we want to celebrate you. The Progress Champions program also includes Sitefinity, and (new this year) Chef and MOVEit.
Know someone else who would be great fit to be a Progress Champion? We’re all ears. Progress Champion nominations are open now—evaluations will be in December 2024 and announcements in January 20205 for the next calendar year.
Progress Champions represent our best friends in the software developer community—their commitment to excellence and collaboration is what moves us forward, and we are proud to be a part of their journey toward continued success.
