HOW-TO Edit ASP, HTML and PHP pages with RadEditorSOLUTIONWe have provided an example how to edit ASP and HTML pages using RadEditor below. There is a requirement, of course, to have the .NET framework installed on the server.
The attached project demonstrates how to open a file located in a directory on the server, load the content between specified start and end tags into the editor and then save the file back with the option to type a new filename. All you have to do is place it in the root folder of your web server (typically C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\), update the RadEditor.dll and the RadControls folder with the latest available ones and start it. With some programming you can set the example to look for any type of text files, to open and to edit them. If you add some permissions' checks, this example will allow you to edit a pure asp site.
