We don’t want to leave you to navigate through the challenge alone. This is why we are planning a weekly stream dedicated solely to the Worthy Web hackathon with our very own Developer Relations team - Alyssa Nicoll, Ed Charbeneau, Sam Basu & TJ VanToll.
So join us! Together we can make the world a better place. One web app at a time!
Coming Up
Alyssa is going to walk you through the exciting steps to build your very own custom drop-down. We will first attempt to customize the native selectβ element and examine the differences between the browsers. Then we will roll our very own drop-down from scratch to match our existing brand. CSS isn’t scary and learning these techniques in an accessible-friendly way can aid you in all sorts of dev adventures! Let’s build a drop-down!

A: YES! For starters, all streams will be recorded, so you can always catch up on shows you missed. And if you're late, that's a-okay too, as you can just drop a greeting in the chat letting us know you're just tuning in and we'll try to get you up to speed. The benefit of the live show, you know. So no worries, if you're late or if you completely miss it, you'll still be very welcome to hang out with us!
