Challenge yourself

It's all about making the world a tiny bit better in April & May for us. And that’s why we’re hosting the Worthy Web hackathon – a challenge designed to make the world a better place, one web app at a time. The challenge runs from April 7 through May 24 and has a prize purse of $40,000 USD (learn more about the hackathon).

We don’t want to leave you to navigate through the challenge alone. This is why we are planning a weekly stream dedicated solely to the Worthy Web hackathon with our very own Developer Relations team - Alyssa Nicoll, Ed Charbeneau, Sam Basu & TJ VanToll.

They will welcome guests and cover some of the key things you'd need to build a worthy app and make your idea come to reality. And they won't be alone either - some of the most awesome techies in the community will join them to help them cover topics like Accessibility, New Tech Stacks, Tools & so much more.

So join us! Together we can make the world a better place. One web app at a time!

FAQ

Q: What if I miss a stream? Will I still be able to follow along?

A: YES! For starters, all streams will be recorded, so you can always catch up on shows you missed. And if you're late, that's a-okay too, as you can just drop a greeting in the chat letting us know you're just tuning in and we'll try to get you up to speed. The benefit of the live show, you know. So no worries, if you're late or if you completely miss it, you'll still be very welcome to hang out with us!
