GraphQL Native Support with Dedicated Data Source Component

We are now introducing the GraphQLDataSource component, which allows the report author to retrieve data from GraphQL APIs. The Standalone Report Designer has a dedicated wizard with intuitive step by step instructions that guide through the process of creating or editing the data source. It enables seamless integration of GraphQL queries, allowing you to pull data efficiently from GraphQL endpoints, simplifying setup and optimizing data retrieval, to ensure smooth report generation from GraphQL-powered APIs. 

User-Initiated Initial Report Preview in Blazor & Angular Viewers

The native Blazor and Angular report viewers now support user-invoked initial report preview, giving users greater control over when reports are generated. Instead of automatic loading, users can trigger the preview manually, improving performance and optimizing resource usage, even more so for large or data-intensive reports.

Raw Data View & Export

Report data items and their data sources now allow you to download the data they're bound to. This feature lets users quickly verify data accuracy and gain deeper insights into the underlying information. Available in desktop designers and WinForms report viewer. 

Report Engine Cache for .NET Based on Microsoft.Data.SqlClient

The REST Service MsSqlServerStorage implementation for .NET 6+ has been updated to use Microsoft.Data.SqlClient, ensuring better performance, compliance and compatibility with modern SQL Server features.
