Work Item management enhancements

  • Clone of work items. You can choose which properties to be cloned – tasks, attachments, relations etc..
  • Convert of item to another item type (ex. Bug to Story, Feedback to Bug).  It could be converted to another work item type, giving option to choose which properties to be preserved and migrated when converting. 
  • Bulk edit tags.
  • Bulk edit status.
  • Subscribe other people for items. When subscribed someone else will begin receiving notifications for the item updates.
  • Bulk edit for followers. Select multiple items and subscribe one or more people for receiving updates on these items.
  • Edit comments. Project administrators can also edit other people’s comments.

Feedback management

  • Allow project members to subscribe portal users to receive notifications for changes on feedback items. 
  • Option to export list of the followers for a given feedback item.
  • Allow users to edit their comments in a given feedback.
  • Merge votes and followers of duplicated feedback items. When merging two feedback items the followers and votes from the original one are moved into the other.

Favourite Views

You can now mark views as favourite. This is useful when you have many views but use some more frequently. You can rearrange the order of your favourite views. 

Feature management enhancements 

Feature item can now have any type of work items as children and show them inside of the feature.

Filter and Search enhancements 

  • Filter are enhanced to allow combination of operators:  “contains”, “not contain”, and “contains x "And" y” in order to provid more advanced filtering options. 
  • Global search is extended to perform search in different categories of items “recently added” or “recently modified” items and filtering by "Status”, is included.

Other enhancements

  • "Quick Search" is added for the "Area" property and for in the "Column" picker in the list view.
  • Requirements Reports is extended to include "Status" and "Last Modified by" for the Acceptance criteria section.
FIXED
  • Feedback notifications were received on item change, even when user explicitly unselected them.
  • Estimates did not show on the board, when the value was set to zero.
  • IE10: Tasks list scrolls to top on mouse-over when "assigned to", "description" or "task name" were selected.
  • The “Iteration” field is blank in the email notifications even though it is populated in the story.
