TeamPulse Activity Stream

With this release users will be able to take in-project collaboration to the next level with the help of the TeamPulse Activity Stream. The new feature allows users to stay up to date with all project activity and start conversations around specific events. The updates shown in the Activity Stream are for:

  • New or updated work items(user stories, tasks, bugs, issues)
  • New or updated Ideas & Feedback portal items
  • Comments made on work items
  • Status updates made by team members

Mentioning

To pull someone into a conversation you no longer need to send him an email. Just use the mention function. It works just like Twitter.

 

New notifications

With this release people using our email notification system will be able to use a new rule that will notify them when a new item is created.

Notifications for new items can also be displayed in the Activity Stream.

Time tracking new features

  • Create new tasks on my perspective and time sheet – To make things even more frictionless we introduced the ability to add tasks from the screen where you update your time. For those occasions when you forgot to create a task.
  • Server side operations for the Time Entries screen – this feature significantly reduces the time needed for the execution of operations like grouping, sorting and paging.

Freestyle features

This release we are launching an initiative called “Freestyle days” where each team member delivers a feature they wanted without any influence from the product owner or the business development team. We chose the name because by definition freestyle is a performance or routine featuring relatively free, unrestricted movement intended to demonstrate an individual's special skills or style.

These are the great features that came out as a direct result:

Ideas & Feedback portal

  • Friendly URLs to the feedback portal pages. All portal item names are now added to the URL of the items. This is a great feature for users looking to get some SEO juice flowing to their portal.
  • Display a 'Team Member' label on the profile pictures of team members. As a result you will be able to distinct which requests, comments and feedback items are coming from your team and which from your customers.
  • Make default value rule work for story rich description

  • Cycle time report: The report shows the correlation between the estimated and actual time (in days) your team has spent to move one item from not started to done state.
  • Copy work item link to clipboard

Improvements

  • The ability to close all help callouts with one click
  • Rename User Management to Admin
