Kendo UI for jQuery

OTP Component

New component

As digital security becomes increasingly important, two-factor authentication (2FA) has become a standard requirement in modern web applications. A critical element of 2FA is the one-time password (OTP) input, which enhances security by adding an extra layer of authentication.

Chart Wizard Component

New component

The Chart Wizard component lets you create a chart using data from a Grid, another data-bound component, or an external source. The Chart Wizard has a simple interface that allows you to set up the chart type, series, axes, data source, and more.

EcmaScript Transition

Improvement

We’ll modernize Kendo UI for jQuery’s codebase using ECMAScript specification. It is a proponent for writing modular code in the modern Web world.

Adaptiveness of Kendo UI for jQuery Components

Improvement

The Data Grid, Toolbar, Pager, TabStrip, and other UI components will be enhanced to support adaptive behavior so that their design and UX are seamless regardless of the device they are displayed on.

Support for jQuery 4

New feature

We are committed to staying current with the latest technologies, and with the official release of jQuery 4.0.0, Kendo UI for jQuery will fully support all its new features. This ensures that your applications can leverage the latest improvements and innovations in the jQuery ecosystem, providing you with cutting-edge tools and capabilities for building modern web applications. Support for jQuery 4 beta is already in place.

PDFViewer: Annotations and Form Filling

New feature
The PDFViewer will support Annotations and Form Filling, enhancing the utility and functionality of PDF documents. Annotations enable users to collaborate, review, and provide feedback, making them essential for communication and document editing. Form filling capabilities will make applications more versatile and user-friendly by allowing users to interactively fill out forms within PDF documents.

Multiple Components Enhancements

Improvement

We closely monitor your suggestions, and based on your feedback, we will implement gradual improvements to our existing components. Keep an eye on future improvements to the Grid, Scheduler, Chart, TabStrip, Menu components, and many others.
