The Telerik UI for JSP FlatColorPicker is acolor editing tool that allows users to select and adjust colors through a palette or a gradient. The component’s header and footer give quick access links for switching between the palette and gradient views, applying, previewing and cancelling changes. While similar to the ColorPicker component, the FlatColorPicker does not use a popup.
A new progress bar component is available with R2 2022. The new UI for JSP CircularProgressBar allows you to show the progress of a particular process or task by animating a circular indicator. The component’s featuresinclude:

The ColorPalettecomponent for JSP is a simple editing tool and offers a variety of predefined color sets and the flexibility to define your own set of colors through CSS. The ColorPalette complies with WAI-ARIA, Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 standards and has built-in keyboard navigation support.
The latest update adds a brand new Default Ocean Blue color swatch to both the Telerik and Kendo UI themes. A swatch is a set of predefined and curated color combinations that offer variations to the look and feel of our themes. While the Telerik and Kendo UI components already adhere to a high accessibility standard, using this swatch will help improve accessibility compliance even further.
New Dark Theme Available in UI for JSP Docs & Demos
With the second release of 2022, we’ve added a new dark theme in the Telerik UI for JSP docs & demos. The Dark theme has become a preferred style for many developers as it reduces eye strain and ensures good color contrast and improved accessibility. You can now easily switch between the light and dark themes and browse through the resources in your favorite mode.
Accessibility Improvements in UI for JSP
In addition to the high-contrast Ocean Blue theme, R2 2022 brings further enhancements to the components’ accessibility compliance and documentation. The Telerik UI for JSP library is undergoing an accessibility review using the industry standard testing process. With this release, we have addressed and improved multiple items and will continue this effort throughout the year.
Updated VPAT Document in UI for JSP
We have updated our existing Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT) to the latest version of this document and according to the latest accessibility improvements that have been made to our UI components.
