What's New R1 2018

New Material Theme

We aim to deliver the latest UI/UX technologies enabling developers to create stunning and beautiful LoB applications. With this release, we’re extending the customization capabilities of UI for WPF and bringing modern looking UI for desktop applications. This Material Theme provides a more flexible use of grid-based layouts, responsive animations and transitions, as well as enlightened padding and depth effects.

In R3 2018, Chat will receive a new feature -Toolbar. Toolbar allows adding different toolbar actions for achieving more user friendly conversational UI. It is placed below the text box and it can be shown/hidden by clicking the toolbar icon in the editable area of the chat/textbox.

New Features Added to TreeList

The TreeList is a popular component that has received a lot of love this release, including

Batch editing
Multi-column headers
Client-side paging (for high-performance scenarios)
Improved localization.

New Component: ArcGauge

The new ArcGauge component continues our trend of implementing highly-requested data visualization components. The ArcGauge allows you to visually represent a value on a circular arc without the mess that may come from more complex data visualization.

New Component: MultiColumnComboBox

The highest requested item in our feedback portal was to have the ability do display tabular data within a drop down. So, we went ahead and implemented this brand new component - the MultiColumnComboBox. This provides the power of a displaying and filtering items in table all within a drop down, giving users more context around the data items they are looking to select.
