Provides a legacy image source backed by a stream or an embedded manifest resource.

Syntax:

public sealed class BitmapImage : BitmapSource

Inheritance: objectBitmapSourceBitmapImage

Creates an empty image source; assign StreamSource or UriSource to provide image data.

public BitmapImage()

Creates an image source from an embedded manifest resource identified by the URI's original string.

public BitmapImage(Uri uri)

Parameters:uriUri

The URI whose OriginalString identifies the manifest resource.

Gets or sets compatibility flags; this implementation stores the value but does not apply the options while loading.

public BitmapCreateOptions CreateOptions { get; set; }

Gets or sets a compatibility value for the requested decoded width. The current implementation does not use it when loading the image.

public int DecodePixelWidth { get; set; }

Property Value:

The stored width value; the default is 0.

Gets or sets the stream used to read image dimensions. Assigning a non-null stream updates PixelWidth and PixelHeight but does not assign Bitmap.

public Stream StreamSource { get; set; }

Gets or sets the URI used to locate an embedded manifest resource; changing it reloads StreamSource.

public Uri UriSource { get; set; }
