Opens the item-selection dialog and edits the supplied collection in place; canceling does not roll back edits already made.

The designer services used to display and commit the editor.

The group's current collection of gallery items.

null after acceptance because the editor reads its value after cleanup; otherwise, the original value. Canceling does not revert edits already applied to the collection.
