Accessibility

The TabStrip is accessible by screen readers and provides full WAI-ARIA support.

WAI-ARIA Support

The TabStrip uses the aria-controls, aria-selected, aria-expanded, aria-labelledby, aria-disabled and aria-hidden properties on the nested elements depending on the selected and disabled options.

The TabStrip uses the tablist role.

The TabStrip also follows the WAI-ARIA best practices for implementing the keyboard navigation for its widget role and is tested against the popular screen readers.
