Transport
configurationThe configuration used to load data items and discover schema information.
transport
Objecttransport.connection
ObjectThe configuration that is used for setting the connection options.
transport.discover
Object|String|FunctionThe configuration which is used when the data source discovers the schema information about the current cube.
The data source uses
jQuery.ajaxto make an HTTP request to the remote service. The value that is configured throughtransport.discoveris passed tojQuery.ajax. This means that you can set all options that are supported byjQuery.ajaxwithtransport.readexcept for thesuccessanderrorcallback functions which are used by the transport.
- If the value of
transport.discoveris a function, the data source invokes that function instead ofjQuery.ajax. - If the value of
transport.discoveris a string, the data source uses this string as the URL of the remote service. - If the value of
transport.discoveris omitted, the data source usestransport.readfor schema discovery.
