I am evaluating Reporting for a client application...I like a lot of the features BUT it wont print properly to a Zebra...even Access will do this.

I have a 4" x 1" label... I created a report in VB and set page size and the report previews perfectly BUT the print out looks like the text is sitting on its side going from bottom to top! on the left side... Printing to the zebra is as simple as printing a proerly sized report in Access!!

Has anyone ever gotten Reports to print on a zebra!!??

Thanks,

Hello Wayne,

without more details about your report definition, used ReportViewer and printer settings it is hard for us to determine the cause of the issue. Please try switching page orientation through the report's PageSettings.
Alternatively you can export to other media and print to your printer from there.

If you need further help, please send us the report definition, the export logic and details about the used drivers and printer settings.

I'm Sorry...thanks for the reply!

Ok, I was in VS 2010 and using the trial Reporting...

In my solution I created a New Item In the solution selected Telerik Report and gave it a name I went throught the wizard setting up the datasource and the report. Its a label with two elemnts on it based on the same field. With the wizrd successful I click the StorageLabel.vb and edit the rort for design. I am using a barcode font for one field and a just a regular text for the othre but they are texboxes attached to the same field. I then edited the rports paged width and heigth for the label 4" x 1" and the page oreintation is portrait as thats how the printer is aligned. everyhting looks great in the preview...(I could send screen shots it you want?)

But the print looks like its printing on its left side all you see on the actual label is the right most par tof the bar code inverted. Now I am able to prodcues the label in Access just by printing to a label sized page and printing to the zebra printer. IN fact I can with your report viewer do an "Export to Adobe" which I can then open in adobe and with some trickery print to the printer too!

Let me know what you need from me to help...

Thanks,

Hi Wayne,

Since it is not clear what technology and Telerik Reporting version is used, nor the report definition settings, upload a runnable sample project and post the link to it here. Please, remove any referenced Telerik assemblies from the project before posting.
