I have a textbox containing a string built from a datasource value.

How to use the text of this box in a watermark ?

I tried without success things like :

= PageExec('textBox88', First(Fields.Column1))

Hi Fx,

Have you confirmed that data provides a text value? If yes, see this documentation for an explanation on how to set up a watermark based on an expression => https://docs.telerik.com/reporting/styling/rendering-and-paging/watermarks#add-text-watermark-using-report-designer

Specifically, step 4 explains how to use an expression:

Alternatively, if you want to conditionally add the watermark, this section explains further => https://docs.telerik.com/reporting/styling/rendering-and-paging/watermarks#add-watermark-conditionally

Hello,

I was curios to check if I can resolve this case. I didn't find a way to get data from the data source and use it in the watermark. However, I managed to find a way of visualizing the value of the parameters in the watermark. If that is a possible option for you, you could take a look at the attached report.

I'll be interested to get any updates in case you managed to load data from the data source in the watermark.

By the way, I tried to handle the case only within the Desktop Designer. I suppose, this can be achieved programmatically.

Regards,
Krasimir
