Hi,

Im working on a multi themes application using NoXaml dlls and Telerik.Windows.Themes.<THEME>.dll libraries.

All works perfectly but not the repoirt viewer. The Telerik.Windows.Themes.<THEME>.dll don't contains Telerik.ReportViewer.Wpf.xaml resource?

Why?

You can add it on next release?

Thanks,

marc.

Hi Marc,

Indeed, the ReportViewer xaml file is not included in the theme assemblies provided with UI for WPF suite and  I understand this causes inconvenience when using the NoXaml dlls.
I will forward your request to the development team to consider a more suitable way for referring the Telerik.ReportViewer.Wpf.xaml resource in such a scenario.

We will update the thread as soon as we have more information on this.

Thaks Yana,

I undertantd that this can create versioning problems, maybe the best idea is to replicate Wpf Viewer into Wpf suite (as Teleirk.Windows.Control.ReportViewer instead Telerik.ReportViewer.Wpf.xaml and so add Theme in standard Telerik.Windows.Themes.<THEME>.dll for version of report viewer deployed with Wpf suite.

Hi Marc,

We will log a task into our system for including Report Viewer's xaml into UI for WPF assemblies. This should make the upgrading process easier.

I have updated your Telerik points to thank you for sharing your feedback with us.

So how do we work around this issue when using implicit styles/NoXaml? Please post a solution.

Hi Greg,

Telerik.ReportViewer.Wpf.xaml can be added manually from the product installation folder or by using the item template provided in Visual Studio. Please check the following tutorials that describe the detailed steps:
WPF report viewer manual setup
How to: Add report viewer to a WPF application
