I have a Dell laptop running Windows 7 and Chrome 12.0 (most current version).  Here's what happens when I try to run the WPF demo:

1) I click "Click to Open" on the demo webpage
2) The XBAP downloads to my Downloads folder.
3) Chrome displays "This type of file can harm your computer.  Are you sure you want to download Telerik...amples.xbap?" on the downloads bar at the bottom of the Chrome window, with "Save" and "Discard" buttons.
4) I click "Save".
5) Return to step 2.

I stopped after I had 6 copies of the XBAP.

The demo runs on IE9 on the same laptop.  I would love to run the demo on Chrome, which appears to significantly faster on my laptop.

Hello Carroll,

XBAP applications are designed to run exlusively inside Windows Internet Explorer and no other browser.  When you are loading these files in non-IE browsers the mime type is not recognized and so these are just treated as file downloads.

You may search the web for some created plugin for Google Ghrome, otherwise you will need to use IE.

The new WPF demos for the RadControls Q2 2011 Beta will be using ClickOnes, so this problem with the browsers will not remain any more. You will just need to download and install the demos.

All the best,
