I have tested the problem that you report. Unfortunately I was not able to reproduce a situation when I was not able to highlight (with dragging the mouse with the left button pressed) and to select the text with 'Ctrl + C'. Right after that I was able to paste the copied text without any problems.
Please let me know if your scenario is different.

I did try left-click and dragging over some text, and pasting to clipboard with CTRL-C. The process you described does work. The root issue is that there's no UI or visual feedback that the highlighting is actually taking place. Can you confirm this on your installation?
Indeed, the current version of the demos application does not feature UI for code highlighting. Sorry for any inconveniences caused. We will consider fixing this in a future release.

I'm looking at the Code from the TreeListView..
I can't select or copy anything to the clipboard.
If I right click on the code, there's a menu that pops up but everything is grayed out.
Seriously one of the dumbest things I've ever seen from Telerik. This shouldn't be "considered" it should be fixed ASAP.
You're making the first thing people do to learn to use your controls harder.
Thank you for the feedback.
Actually, the copy/paste works, If you select over the text, do Ctrl + C, and paste in a text field, the text will appear. The problem is that no visual for selection is shown when user selects text. We have this fix on our TODO list and will do our best to deliver it with the Q3 2011 release. Hope this time frame is acceptable for you.
Kind regards,
