I am trying to find out why the extra space shows up to the right of the highlighted node ( the node is in green in attached image). I would have liked the right border of the treeview to be very close to the right of highlighted node in green, but it is not so. May be there is some property of treeview that determines this?
I am using Q1 2008 SP1 version.

Thanks
Sunil

Hi Sunil,

It looks like you are using the Telerik Theme, is that right? I've looked at it on other themes and it doesn't seem to be so obvious, though haven't managed to rid it of all space at the moment

Hi Richard,

I am guessing it could be something to do with AutoScroll margin and scroll width for for vertical scroll bar.

Thanks

Hi Sunil,

This is the current implementation of RadTreeView layout and this behavior can not be changed. We have plans to refactor RadTreeView control and more specifically its layout and data engine. The new version will introduce many improvements regarding themes and possibilities for customizations. You can find more information in our Q1 2011 Roadmap.

Hi Sunil,

Please note that in Q1 2011 we have introduced a major upgrade of RadTreeView control, which is now virtualized and fully customizable. Feel free to download the latest release and try it out.
For more information about this release, please refer to this blog post.

All the best,
