Hi to all,

actually we have a program developed with VB6 and Crystal Report 8, we're trying to import VB6 solution in VS 2008.

In parallel, we're creating a new solution with WPF FW4.0 C# in VS2015 with Telerik Reporting.

Can we convert rpt files from this solution (rpt in VS 2008) to VS 2015 with telerik report?

Hi Potito,

Telerik Reporting is built against .NET 4 as of Q2 2013, where Visual Studio 2015 is supported as of Q3 2015.. There are converters that can help you convert partially or fully existing Crystal reports, which work with Crystal Reports build 10.2.3600.0 or later.
Thus the existing Crystal Reports have to be upgraded to the specified version before being converted to Telerik Reports.Depending on the complexity of the existing reports, please test with one report document to determine the scope of the task.

Once you have Telerik Reports, they can be displayed in a WPF ReportViewer or WinForms ReportViewer (in a host).

Hello Potito,

Converters do not work with the given version of Crystal Reports (Crystal Reports 8). The existing converter can read settings from reports created with Crystal Reports 10.2.3600 and later.
