Hello, I have a quick question:

I am using a single RadGridView for displaying various List<> of custom objects. This works well until I set a filter for one of the columns, and a column with that name doesn't exist on the new bound List<>

The exception is thrown just as I set Datasource="NewCustomList"

I have tried to iterate through the columns for clearing the filter, and I've also tried Clear() the columns, but this didn't help.

How can I reset the filter programmatically?

Setting DockPanel Width

I walked through the list of forums for setting width of dockPanel on Dock Manager.

Here is my scenario: (Design Time)
1. I have a dockManager1 placed on my ShapedForm
2. I add a dockpanel to the left. (Which Contains a tree structure)

In the Load method, the rek calls for screem partitioned into two in Shell/Home Form.

dockPanel1.Size =

new System.Drawing.Size(200, dockPanel1.Size.Height);

dockingManager1.ResumeLayout();

The width doesnt set and occupies half of my host screen (not good).

Is there something wrong in what I am doing??

Fix or workaround is appreciated!!!

[Solved] RadButton DialogResult does not work

Hi,

I created a simple dialg with a "Yes" and a "No" Button (Forms.Button).
As Dialog Result i set the Values Yes and No to the buttons.

Clicking the buttons closes the Dialog with the expected resutl.

When I use RadButton instead the dialog does NOT close!!!

Of course I can add a handler wiht
DialogResul=....

But the RadButton has a different behavior to the Forms.Button or in other words:
The porperty "DialogResult" has no effect.

RadGridView Problems

I'm having a problem whenever I try to drag the RadGridview component to the form. It would prompt an error, "Microsoft Visual Studio has encountered a problem and needs to be close", and then it would restart the Visual Studio. Can somebody help me? Thanks.

Dynamically change the Step/Min/Max value

Hi,

I have drawn a chart with some values. I want to change the Step/Min/Max values whenever i clicked/drag the mouse on the chart.

Is there any way to change the step of the chart when the mouse click/drag on the chart.

DateTimePicker stays on top when mdichild closes

Hi,

I've got an MDI Application in which there are MDIChildforms whom contain RadDateTimePickers. when the Windowstate of the mdichilform is normal, the datetimepicker is selected (showing the calendar) and i then close the childform, the calendar still stays on top. If you click inside the calendar, the application will crash because the control doesnt exist anymore...

Any help?

RadWebBrowserItem

I'm keen to use RadWebBrowserItems in carousel.

I can get multiple browser items - navigate them etc.

What I want is only the selecteditem to be full size and function as
a browser.
The others in the background i want to resize the WHOLE viewable
area of the webpage into the reduced background size . So ie: shrink
the non selected ones but keep everything on the page still showing.

I also want to get the non selected ones to be brought back as bitmaps
to disallow link clicking on background items.

Need help understanding how to use the getasbitmap methods.

DragDrop problems

We are having several problems with radTreeview:

1) If the target tree is empty there seems to be no way to get the right events to fire - so we cannot add new nodes. There are ugly work-arounds like adding a dummy node on mouseEnter but thats no good.

2) DragAndDrop between two treeviews seems to have a lot of bugs as well.

What we are trying to accomplish is this:

1) on the left a tree view with some stuff in it. On the right an empty tree view.

2) allow the user to drag items from left treeview to right treeview.

This should be easy and it is not.
